The Higher Teacher Training College (HTTC) Bambili follows the principle that “there is no permanent part-time lecturer”. Accordingly, both fresh and already engaged part-time lecturers must apply every academic year. The Vice-Chancellor will make a “Call for Applications to Teach as Part-Time Lecturers” specifying the deadline for applications and the date of the Recruitment Interview. Prospective applications should take keen note of the following procedural issues:
1. Address an application to the Vice-Chancellor of The University of Bamenda (in June) following a Call for Applications by the Vice-Chancellor, Specifying the HTTC Department in which you wish to teach.
2. Submit your application file in the Central Mail Service of the University.
3. Composition of the file:
a. Photocopies of the highest academic qualification as well as the GCE A/O level certificates and
b. Evidence of university teaching and scientific / scholarly publications.
4. Every applicant, except those who hold university teaching ranks within the CCIU (Consultative Commission on University Institutions) system, must attend a Recruitment Interview for part-time lecturers on a date to be announced by the Vice-Chancellor.
5. Bring along originals of personal documents and academic certificates to the Recruitment Interview.
